James “Jamie” D. Smith serves as the Supervisor for the Fort Chiswell (District 4) on the Wythe County Board of Supervisors, where he holds the title of Vice Chair. He is also active in Republican politics in the county, functioning as Chairman of the Wythe County Republican Committee. Through these dual roles, Jamie Smith plays a crucial part in shaping both the local government and political landscape of Wythe County.
